12 Months ago you may remember myself and Jake standing up to give our speeches to you. The time is back, and unfortunately I cannot give another speech. However there are some excellent candidates running and I’m sure you will all be eager to here their speeches over the coming days. Voting will take place on Wednesday 25th June, when I will be in with Jake to count the votes and hand over my role to the next Head Girl.

Although it will be tough to hand over my role after what has been an amazing year, and an absolute honor, I am sure that the next Head Girl will come along to do a far better job. May I thank you the students, parents and staff for your continued support over the past 7 years of my time at St Thomas More in particular the past year, where although times have been tough for me, you supported me and helped me to ensure my job as Head Girl was being done to the best of my ability. A particular mention I must make is to Mrs Staton for her consistent support, thank you.

It is sad to be finally leaving St Thomas More, the happiest memories I have in life have taken place there. But I move on to hopefully become a Physical Education Teacher within 3 years, and who knows I may well be back then. But a part of St Thomas More will always stay with me right within my heart.

Finally may I take this opportunity to wish Lee, Matin, Sam, Adam, Chelsea, Stephanie, Rebecca, and Katie, the very best of luck in there endeavors to become the next Head Boy & Head Girl. It is a fantastic and rewarding opportunity and each are very deserving candidates.
